 RECAST (Foundations for OutReach through Experiential Child Advocacy Studi
 es Training).\n\nThis free two-day training will provide the MDT with the 
 opportunity to navigate through a simulation of a child abuse investigatio
 n.\n\nDay 1 of the training (virtual) will explore the 12 core concepts of
  understanding traumatic stress in children and families.\n\nDay 2 (in-per
 son) will be a simulation of an abuse investigation: Go in-depth on a fore
 nsic investigation with the case of nine-year old Samara Green. Participan
 ts will learn how to identify\, gather\, and share information before maki
 ng final recommendations for the case\, such as determining the need for a
 rrests or foster care. This scenario relies heavily on participant learnin
 g to carefully engage alleged offenders\, while preserving the ability to 
 gather further evidence.
